Provide as much information about your job skills and experience as possible on your CareerMinder.com page. Be sure to include a headshot of yourself - people are more likely to network with a person if they feel some connection with them, and having a visual concept of you will help with that.

Search for other jobseekers who are seeking similar positions, in the location you desire to work, and contact them. Start a forum group or e-mail group and start networking! Share information about positions you are aware of that others might be interested in pursuing.

Networking is about making contacts and sharing information to benefit yourself and others. Share what you know; those you share with will return the favor.
